kid stories

To commemorate this last day as a school speech therapist, I thought it would be a good time to share some of my favorite kid stories from the past few years...

1. Me: "How do you spell your name?"
Student: "R.... A.... well, on my birth certificate there's an apostrophe here. But on my dad's tattoo there isn't. So I don't use one."

2. Student: "I'm sorry. It's just that we don't like people with yellow hair."

3. Student attempting to get my attention: "Hey! SPEECH!"

4. Me: "What do you think that word means?"
Student: "My head tells me it means 'go to sleep', but my heart tells me it means 'go to bed'."

I'll (try really hard to) post more as they come to mind.

Happy summer!!!
